I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Doctor of Counseling degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. My academic journey includes training at Obafemi Awolowo University and Dallas Baptist University, shaping both my clinical depth and multicultural perspective.
In addition to my clinical work, I am a minister of the gospel and have served in pastoral leadership for nearly three decades. This dual background—clinical and pastoral—allows me to work with individuals and couples at a deeper level, integrating emotional, relational, and value-based dimensions of life.
My Approach to Therapy
Therapy with me is structured, focused, and outcome-driven.
I do not take a passive or purely conversational approach. Instead, I help clients:
- Gain clarity on what is actually driving their struggles
- Identify and disrupt unhealthy emotional and relational patterns
- Develop practical strategies for change
- Build alignment between their beliefs, behaviors, and relationships
My work is especially informed by structured frameworks, including my approach to relationship dynamics and personal development, designed to move clients from insight to measurable progress.
What Sets This Work Apart
Many people come to therapy after trying to figure things out on their own—sometimes for years. What they often need is not more reflection, but clear direction.
My role is to help you:
- See what you may not be seeing
- Address what you may have been avoiding
- And move forward with clarity, confidence, and intention
This is a collaborative process, but also a guided one. You will be supported, but you will also be challenged.
Who I Work Best With
I work best with individuals and couples who:
- Are self-aware and ready to grow
- Recognize that something isn’t working
- Want more than surface-level conversations
- Are open to structured guidance and honest feedback
Whether you are navigating relationship challenges, preparing for marriage, working through emotional stress, or seeking clarity in your life direction, our work will focus on real change—not just temporary relief.
A Personal Note
I understand that reaching out for therapy is not always easy. It requires honesty, courage, and a willingness to confront what is not working. But it is also one of the most strategic decisions you can make for your life.
You do not have to remain stuck in confusion, frustration, or recurring cycles. With the right structure and guidance, meaningful change is possible.
